About Us

The Insurance Center of Central Texas was founded by Gordon Riley in 1961. Brenda Jaynes went to work for Gordon in 1984. When his health declined, his son took over the agency and changed the name to The Insurance Center of Central Texas. Brenda bought the agency from the son in 2014. We are an Independent Agent and represent a wide variety of companies from personal lines to commercial lines. Safeco, Kemper, Progressive, Liberty Mutual and Hartford, including their AARP program are just a few of the companies we represent. We provide service in our office, or online service if the customer wants to go direct. We look forward to helping you with your insurance needs.
